Via the really lovely McGill University ‘old maps of Canada’ website . This map, made by Joannes de Laet ca 1630, shows the coast of maritime Canada in a pretty recognizable way. 
Of note here is that if refers to what is now Nova Scotia as Accadie. This is a reference to the Acadians who were French colonists removed from the area following the British expulsion between 1755 and 1763. Some moved to Louisiana where their name became corrupted to Cajun.
